Wholistic Transformation - Changing Hearts, Minds, Communities
We create vibrant relational communities for those aging out of foster care where they are engaged in experiences which result in wholistic health by providing a path for each person to mature and grow in their own dignity and worth, and their relationship with God and others.
A 501c3 to create a transformational living opportunity, through the love of Christ, which empowers individuals aging out of the foster care system to meet their spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs.
Eight affortable housing units focused around a traditional Southwest courtyard to create a sense of community and an opportunity to build relationships.
The navigator guides those aging out of foster care towards their goals with resources from vetted community agencies. This helps remove obstacles to clients achieving their chosen direction.
Using years of expertise to passionately promote sustainable development by connecting, educating, and equipping organizations and people that transform lives, families, and communities through integral ministries. These wholistic strategies serve the whole person, recognizing their spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and environmental needs.
Bryan is a long-time resident of Tucson and very passionate about his city. He is a proud graduate of Tucson High School and the University of Arizona. He is an entrepreneur at heart and has been fortunate to have had a varied career. Bryan has owned several businesses for over 25 years, did real estate development, served as Board Chair and Interim Pastor at Bethel Community Baptist Church, served as Chair of the Board and Chair of the Supervisory Committee at Tucson Federal Credit Union, and designed and built the house that he and his family have lived in for 20+ years, (which he considers one of his greatest accomplishments).
Bryan's career took a detour in 2012 when he became a missionary with the Global CHE Network and began working overseas training organizations and churches in “wholistic community development”. Bryan was amazed to see how rural villagers in the developing world used their own solutions, and their own resources to solve their own problems after receiving Community Health Evangelism (CHE) training. Communities changed spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and environmentally.
Most recently Bryan led a task force to reduce poverty in the city of Tucson using the same CHE strategies that have been so successful overseas. He has also been working part-time on the vision of Wholistic Transformation – Changing Hearts, Minds, and Communities for the past two years and is looking forward to committing himself full-time to create a prototype of his vision.

Jennifer Fishencord, otherwise known as “JFish”, grew up in Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University. She served as an elementary educator for 19 years. She left education to pursue a Ministry calling and served as an Executive Assistant to a pastor for 7 years. She then felt led to serve with 4Tucson as a project manager and stayed there for 4 years. In October 2021, she felt led to start her own business, Events by JFish. She is now serving as an Events Planner for businesses, nonprofits, and ministries to help coordinate events and fundraisers allowing them to focus on their mission rather than worrying about event details. Jennifer has been married for 31 years and has two giant fur babies, Maggie and Barley (Mastiff/Labrador mixes). She enjoys traveling with her husband, Eric, watching the NFL games, and reading for fun. From her time as an educator, Jennifer is aware of the numerous challenges our youth face, so she is extremely excited to serve as a board member with Mentoring Tucson’s Kids and help create a positive impact in the lives of our Pima County youth.

While born in California, Eric spent most of his life in Arizona, enjoying the wide-open spaces that make up most of the state. He attended the University of Southern California on a ROTC scholarship graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He served in the Air Force in both active duty and the ready reserves for 19 years as an Electronic Warfare Officer on the F-4 and EC-130 platforms. He received his MBA from Colorado Christian University in 2008. He currently works in the information technology field and serves as an associate pastor at Summit Ridge Community Church. Eric has 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. In 2006, he and his wife of 37 years, Donna, started Good Leaven Ministries, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to serving Arizona’s youth. He believes that America’s future is in its youth and bringing them up well-grounded in the truths of scripture is critical. Both Eric and Donna are excited about bringing the resources of GLM into Wholistic Transformation; a merger that will serve the Tucson community well.

Pedro De Velasco is a husband and a father of three girls. He is also an advocate for migrants’ rights and a migrant himself, with over 13 years of experience working with migrant communities on both sides of the border between Mexico and the U.S.
Pedro studied law in Mexico, and he earned a certificate in U.S. criminal and immigration law by the University of Arizona. He currently serves as Director of Education and Advocacy with the Kino Border Initiative, a Catholic binational organization that provides humanitarian assistance and holistic accompaniment to migrants in Nogales, Sonora.
Pedro was the State Coordinator of the "Paisano" Program in Coahuila, Mexico, a program responsible for supporting and informing Mexicans and Mexican Americans about their rights and obligations upon returning or visiting Mexico.
He moved to Tucson in 2013, to work with the migrants and immigrant community in Southern Arizona, at the Consulate of México in Tucson, where he was Consul of Protection and Legal Affairs. His role was to protect the rights and well-being of Mexican nationals abroad, which allowed him to know first-hand their needs and challenges. He then became a community organizer with Chicanos Por La Causa, promoting immigrant integration and integral community development in Southern Arizona.
Pedro's work in benefit of our community, regardless of national origin or background, led him to join the Kino Border Initiative in 2021, where he is responsible for building and strengthening collaborative networks that help reverse the anti-immigrant rhetoric, and influence the transformation of immigration policies, towards a humane and just system.
