Pedro De Velasco is a husband and a father of three girls. He is also an advocate for migrants’ rights and a migrant himself, with over 13 years of experience working with migrant communities on both sides of the border between Mexico and the U.S.
Pedro studied law in Mexico, and he earned a certificate in U.S. criminal and immigration law by the University of Arizona. He currently serves as Director of Education and Advocacy with the Kino Border Initiative, a Catholic binational organization that provides humanitarian assistance and holistic accompaniment to migrants in Nogales, Sonora.
Pedro was the State Coordinator of the "Paisano" Program in Coahuila, Mexico, a program responsible for supporting and informing Mexicans and Mexican Americans about their rights and obligations upon returning or visiting Mexico.
He moved to Tucson in 2013, to work with the migrants and immigrant community in Southern Arizona, at the Consulate of México in Tucson, where he was Consul of Protection and Legal Affairs. His role was to protect the rights and well-being of Mexican nationals abroad, which allowed him to know first-hand their needs and challenges. He then became a community organizer with Chicanos Por La Causa, promoting immigrant integration and integral community development in Southern Arizona.
Pedro's work in benefit of our community, regardless of national origin or background, led him to join the Kino Border Initiative in 2021, where he is responsible for building and strengthening collaborative networks that help reverse the anti-immigrant rhetoric, and influence the transformation of immigration policies, towards a humane and just system.

While born in California, Eric spent most of his life in Arizona, enjoying the wide-open spaces that make up most of the state. He attended the University of Southern California on a ROTC scholarship graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He served in the Air Force in both active duty and the ready reserves for 19 years as an Electronic Warfare Officer on the F-4 and EC-130 platforms. He received his MBA from Colorado Christian University in 2008. He currently works in the information technology field and serves as an associate pastor at Summit Ridge Community Church. Eric has 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In 2006 he and his wife of 37 years Donna started Good Leaven Ministries, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to serving Arizona’s youth. America’s future is in its youth and bringing up young people well-grounded in the truths of scripture is critical. Both Eric and Donna are excited about bringing the resources of GLM into Wholistic Transformation; a merger that will serve the Tucson community well.

Jfish grew up in Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University. She served as an elementary educator for 19 years. She left education to pursue a ministry calling and served as an executive assistant to a pastor for 7 years. She then felt led to serve with 4Tucson as a project manager and stayed there for 4 years. In October 2021, she felt led to start her own business, Events by JFish. She is now serving as an events planner for businesses, nonprofits and ministries to help coordinate events and fundraisers so they can be more focused on their mission rather than worrying about event details. Jennifer has been married for 31 years and has two giant fur babies, Maggie and Barley (Mastiff/Labrador mixes). She enjoys traveling with her husband, Eric, watching the NFL games and reading for fun. From her time as an educator, Jennifer is aware of the numerous challenges our youth face so she is extremely excited to serve as a board member with Mentoring Tucson’s Kids and make a positive impact in the lives of our youth in Pima Country.

After 7 years of ranking in the top 5% of Honda sales executives in customer service and unit sales across the USA, I made the transition to real estate. Golf is my go-to activity, but what I enjoy most is helping people in need. I walked into this line of work to serve my higher purpose and my mission, which is guiding people out of tough situations and helping them make their desires come true.
